Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)
APQP is a structured process for meeting product quality and customer requirements before the first part ships. I manage its requirements, inputs and evidence. In automotive it follows the original AIAG process. In aerospace and defence the same discipline runs to EN9145, also known as AS9145. I work to both, so I can support automotive suppliers and space, aerospace and defence programmes.
Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (TRL / MRL)
I administer the deliverables and inputs used for technology readiness (TRL) and manufacturing readiness (MRL). Aerospace and defence companies rely on these levels to gate a programme.
